AFP Joint Special Operations Group (JSOG)

Bakbakan International conducted a demonstration and workshop for the AFP Joint Special Operations Group (JSOG) on August 16, 2004 at Camp Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The event was conducted under the request and authorization of Commanding Officer Col. Jose B. Vizcarra, INF (JSC), PA.

Knife-fighting demonstration.

Empty-hand (kick-boxing) demonstration.

AFP JSOG soldiers are taught the basics of Kali Ilustrisimo.

Monsour del Rosario, Ronnie Ricketts, Christopher Ricketts and Bruce Ricketts fielding questions from the spectators.

The soldiers of the Light Reaction Companies of the AFP Joint Special Operations Group had the surprise of their lives as Bakbakan Senior members and Philippine movie action stars Ronnie Ricketts, Monsour del Rosario and Bruce Ricketts were in attendance and assisted in the demonstration and workshop. The event was headed by Chief Instructor Christopher Ricketts.

Plans are currently underway to have regular training sessions for the AFP JSOG conducted by the Bakbakan group.
